Wanted:
Creative minded individuals to pursue an arts-inspired education at the only High School completely committed to raising students academic and artistic abilities. If you are a serious artist looking for your creative home, you will find it at Renaissance High School for the Arts. Renaissance students are doers! As we enter into our 20th year as Renaissance High School for the ARTS, students will learn how to Create, Present, Respond and Connect with the world they live.
Students thrive in a community that is caring, inclusive, and supportive of each student's growth. At RHSA, students are expected to commit to the process, engage in the opportunities when presented and contribute to the community when possible. You can find our students mingling at the intersection of creativity and application. Here, students learn to harness their creativity in the form of solutions for today's standards as they prepare for their future. Whether it be be college, or career, students should be prepared for both and at RHSA we provide the foundation for students to compete wherever they choose.
Our students express themselves in the present, acquire new skills for your future, and recognize the significance of the artistic past. An equal emphasis on formal technique and personal expression will prepare students to succeed in college and in the real world. At Renaissance, you will have many opportunities to grow in a fully immersive arts-focused community that is rigorous and challenging, but also supportive and creatively inspiring.
Each 9th grader will apply to one of RHSA's Schools (Fashion, Film, Performing Arts, or Visual Arts) that will end with a Capstone Course. However, because each student will have 7 classes, there will be multiple opportunities to experience arts electives outside their chosen school.
