Principal's Welcome

Dear Renaissance Phoenix Families,

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! We are so proud to be coming off of a year that we completed our six year accreditation review called WASC with high marks in all categories. We will continue to work with the feedback we received in a process of continual improvement.

Our district and staff at Renaissance are deeply committed to providing a learning environment that is centered on equity and excellence for ALL students. Renaissance High School for the Arts is aligned with the Long Beach Unified School District’s Vision 2035 and Strategic Plan. The Graduate Portrait, the Adult Portrait, the System Portrait and the Core Values will be the foundation of our goals for the new year. We will continue to provide many opportunities for our staff, students, and parents to learn, grow, celebrate and connect throughout the year.

We appreciate all of you continuing to be in partnership with your child’s education. Please know that our primary mode of communication will be through School Messenger email.
